During both days of the festival a variety of rock climbing adventures for different abilities will visit some of the more exciting climbing sites in the Bear Valley area. Let MAS guides and instructors lead you to some hidden gems while monitoring safety for the group.

Rock Climbing Adventure |

| Climbing is natural
for kids, or is it that kids climb naturally? Regardless,
rock climbing is fun and can be a great way to enjoy the great day outdoors
with the entire family. Parents are encouraged to join in the fun and can either watch or do some climbing with the group. MAS instructors receive many accollades for creating a safe and supportive setting for youth groups and enjoy helping kids experience the thrill of outdoor rock climbing. |

| Tope-Rope
Climbing Adventure |

Each day we offer fun outdoor climbing adventures with professional set top-ropes for your climbing enjoyment. From
spicey slabs to steep and challenging cracks we encourage all climbers to participate in safe and fun climbing experiences in Bear Valley during the festival. Whether you are testing your skills or working on
technique our staff will make sure everybody has a safe
and enjoyable experience.

Box
Canyon Slabs (Saturday)
Just a short walk from the Bear Valley
Village and event registration desk, this climbing site offers scenic
climbs on sunny granite slabs up to 100 feet in height. Both
face and crack climbs from 5.4 to 5.10 in difficulty are available. Box Canyon is a great place for beginning and experieced climbers to spend a day climbing and is especially a great place to work on your footwork. |

Spicer Terraces
Cracks (Sunday)
Alongside the banks of the Spicer Reservoir are a series of steep
granite benches that host of number of demanding crack climbing
routes. Although most routes follow the natural cracks systems
a few technical faces can also mix up the day. This is a great
place to work on your crack climbing skills - finger to offwidths. This is a great opportunity to let MAS guides help you refine your crack climbing skills |
