A great program for novice boaters including folks wishing to refresh on essential safety and efficiency skills. Learn about different paddle strokes and safety procedures including braces, wet exits, rolling, plus self and assisted rescue.

Come spend the day paddling and recreating at Lake Alpine on Sunday during the festival. This area is the main attraction along Highway 4 during the summer with comfortable swimming temperatures, good fishing, scenic rock islands, sandy beaches and forested shorelines.

Festival participants will be issued a "treasure map" which guides folks around the lake eventually leading them to a catered deli-style lunch. All participants should be prepared for great paddling, great views and a great time.
